Strekoza Peterhof at 4 months. He became a CFA champion on 12/9/07 and a grand champion 4 months later,
Yuliana was born 12/14/05 in St. Petersburg
She is a beautiful black silver mackerel tabby with white. Very sweet little girl and is a very nice addition to our cattery. Yuli is also my daughter Danae's therapy cat. Danae has autism and Yulia is wonderful with her. One thing Yuli does is she puts her paws on Danae when she cries..
We are hobby breeders dedicated to raising top quality, healthy and happy Siberian Cats. We give preference to homes with children with special needs. Having a daughter with Autism we see first hand how invaluable it is to have a pet like a Siberian. The Siberian's temperment, size and non allergenic qualities make them perfect candidates for being therapy cats.
The History
The Siberian Cat is one of the oldest natural cat breeds dating back for 1000 years. They originate in Russia where the winters are long and harsh. Siberians have a wonderful dense coat when raised in cold climates but the fur is rather soft. An added plus is that the Siberian despite the longer coat, is non-matting. They are gentle, loyal, loving, very playful and have dog-like personalities, as they come when they are called. Their ability to jump and gracefully climb into high places is second to none, in the feline world. The Siberian Cat was first imported to the United States from Russia in 1990.
Non Allergenic Qualities:
We were first drawn to this wonderful breed as most allergy sufferers can tolerate Siberians Cats without lasting symptoms. My son has asthma and is allergic to cats. He is fine with our Siberians.
The theory is that the Siberian produces little or no dander, thus allowing allergy sufferers the pleasure of being in the companionship of the Siberian Cat without runny eyes, sneezing and their breathing being compromised. Scientists state that it is likely the Fel-D1 protein usually found in the cat's saliva, and drying as dander on the coat as the culprit, and an enemy of millions of allergy sufferers.
Empirical analysis would indicate that the Siberian is indeed somewhat unique and special. Today 13 years after the Siberian was first imported from Russia, thousands of allergy sufferers that are also cat lovers, now have these wonderful feline companions in their homes. In may cases, these same people now shared their home with more than one Siberian kitty.

Budimir-Timange Fialka (at 2 months) a black classic tabby boy made Strekoza his new home in July. He came to us from Elena Hildebrandt the owner of the cattery in St. Petersburg Russia. We picked him up at the end of our trip which also included Amsterdam, Tallinn and Helsinki. We thank Elena so very much for our beautiful boy.
